Short trip to the east

We parked our Volvo in St.Gallen and transferred our bikes to the Appenzeller Bahn. Arrived in Gais, we enjoy a short espresso and the view of the Säntis. But then it's off to the trail fun, which takes us via St.Anton to Altstätten. We are thrilled by the trails, but also by the commitment of the MTB Rheintal association, which constructively promotes the interests of mountain bikers in the St.Gallen Rhine Valley and the Appenzeller Vorderland. On the way we pass the unique workshop of "Velo+Werk", a look inside is worthwhile - even without a breakdown. Back in Gais, we continue via Teufen to the Waldeggtrail. The steep ascent is rewarded with a flowing pleasure, hand-shoveled steep wall curves and jumps. The club is looking forward to new trail supporters and energetic helpers.
